Guided tours of the building are offered at 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm. Tours are free with no registration required.
Staff will guide visitors through the history of the courthouse and its involvement in Delaware’s colonization, statehood, and laws. One major piece of the building’s history involves the Fugitive Slave Act trials of John Hunn and Thomas Garrett, Delaware Quaker abolitionists.
